The MorphOS port of Lua scripting language has been updated to version 0.4. In this version io.module has been added, which is responsible for file and console access. Unlike in simple ports, the module interfaces to dos.library and bypasses unnecessary unix emulation layers. Similarly to other Lua standard modules in the MorphOS port, io.module is implemented as a shared library and loaded on demand.
