Already did , called The Vague. And while i am russian, i understand that making mag in russian will suck hard, the same hard, as making mags in hungarian or in norsk or in any other non-international language.
Making today mags not in english just suck. And even if you did, then promote it on Hungarian amiga forums only then. Why bother with english speaking forum ? _________________ Join us to improve dopus5! zerohero's mirror of os4/os3 crosscompiler suites

| @kas1e: I still know many users in Hungary who doesn't speak any foreign language. Because of this reason they'll not interested in any non-hungarian magazines. On the other hand, I also know several others, who just left all hungarian forums because they lost the "spirit" of the amiga community in Hungary, but still visiting international sites. I'd like to reach them. Don't see if it is really an issue... |

| Ok so this is only issue one so I be lenient, perhaps you are trying to be retro, but it doesn't work for me, perhaps thats the intention - but the balance between news, NG and current events VS retro is heavily balanced in retro's direction. As a relative non-geek I don't really see the appeal, but I can see why others would - having something on paper rather than on screen in a pdf means a lot to some people - although surely geeky types have amassed a 'good' collection of old Amiga magazines from years ago? Isn't that nostalgic enough? Last edited by djrikki on 04-Jun-2011 at 01:10 PM.

| Well, while the Kas1e term sound a bit harsh i have to agree with him, promoting an hungarian Mag in an international site is a bit unlogic, how about 2 different version or 1 version written in Hungarian/English ?
Nice efforts btw, bravo ! _________________ BACK FOR THE FUTURE

| Just to be clear, I accept Kas1e's opinion. Also know that the Amiga community in Hungary is extremely small. The mayor reason to introduce widely the start of this mag was, as I told previously, to reach more hungarian readers, as there can be a bunch of them who doesn't visit hungarian sites. Secondly, I though that showing up activity from Hungary as a commitment to the Machine, even if it means more than an announcement only for a small group of users can be important, mainly because of the community's spirit. do I have to think I was wrong? ...
Still, thanks for the support. Our website will be available soon, hosted by Amigaspirit.hu. Currently I have no capacity for a proper translation of all the articles, but possibly that will happen later. Our plan is to give balance for Classic and NG owners, as we don't want to divide more the community, but more likely to reunite. So that also will be an obsolete argument. We're working on it. |

| It's quite hard to reach old hungarian magazines, nor their quality is quite low. Or even the articles aren't as detailed, to be good for a newbie how to start. We want to help newcomers, as personally I know some guys who just bought their firs Amigas. They need some basic help, how to start. I believe that having a paper based mag is more useful if you're sitting in a front of a low-end classic. I loved those days when these old mags were available at the shops - really missing those days. We want to do a mag in premium quality, if someone interested, it can be bought, then the price contains only the printing cost. I'm not talking about a quick print on a laser printer, but a professional way, how CUAmiga or AF have been made back in the day. |

| I think it's a well done mag, I wish I could do something like that so thumbs up from me.
Regarding the language...I think you should, if you can find the time just quickly translate it into english, you seem to be very fluent in it so it shouldn't be a problem.
@everyone
Let's please be nice and open to amigans' efforts...shooting them down helps no one, just a thought _________________ www.loriano.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk

| Great mag, and everyone should learn Hungarian anyway. Even the martians speak it! _________________ MorphOS, classic Amiga, demoscene, and stuff "When a bridge is not enough, build a Viaduct!" "Strip the Amiga community of speculation and we can fit every forum on a 720k floppy" (by resle)

Nice news!
But I presume, You should get a paper version and sell it. That's better asset protection - any income.
Now that Amiga Future is in German and English, Polish Polish Amiga Magazine too (both printed and a pdf, released with the delay), Amiga papers appear in quite several languages, don't you think guys?
There was another one - was it Obligement right? This one in French. I also seem to recall a Greek one, started last year AFAIR. Are these all other regular too?
But if the printing costs and volumes are a problem, perhaps it is an idea to make an alliance, in order to have a solid magazine solid, but as a bulk of 2-3 languages? I suppose this might be a cost workaround... And quite an adventure!
