Continuing AmigaKit's commitment to sponsoring development of Classic Amiga hardware, Elbox have manufactured a new production run of this popular IDE interface. |
What is new in this production run of an old hardware? What is developed? _________________ F1 Srbija

| @amigakit Thanks for helping keep out classic Amiga's alive by funding on going hardware and software development.
If the FastATA MK-IV is just a software/firmware update version of the existing FastATA adapters would it be possible to purchase an upgrade kit to fix/upgrade our existing boards as I don't want to binning existing working hardware to get a firmware upgrade.
In the past I paid about £25 to update the firmware of my Mediator SX to a TX would a similar deal be possible here? _________________ Sam440ep 667mhz, 512MB, 120GB 2.5" HD, OS4.1FE WinUae 3.0.0, OS 3.9, BB3, Catweasel MkIV Amiga 1200, Blizzard 040/40 (BlizzardPPC 060/200 with SCSI removed at present), mediatorSX pci, Voodoo3, PCI network card os 3.9BB2 4MB Minimig with ARM addon boar

| not to mention that on both my systems (one mediator based the other just bvision) the mkIII version hangs at anything beyond PIO0 with several drives tried. On the same systems with the same drives my trusty mkI gets a full PIO5. What's the guarantee mkIV won't be as lousy as mkIII? Last edited by vulture on 06-Jul-2011 at 01:49 PM.
