| Cube2 rokz !
I already have half-working port of cube2 for aos4, but just it make no sense to release it without gallium. Strange why AROS guys not make more ports for now when they have full mesa+gallium, and only deadwood worry about.. There is plenty of cool opensource 3d games which will rokz on mesa/galium.

It is the first game that truly uses the advanced capabilities and features of AROS 3D sub-system.

As far as i undersand it use capabilities and features of Gallium , not something specially done for aros only and what not avail on say linux ? Or i miss something , and AROS have in gallium something "aros-only" for now ? (except necessary parts for port-code of course). _________________ Join us to improve dopus5! zerohero's mirror of os4/os3 crosscompiler suites

Too little devs, too little time... Would you be interested in porting 3D stuff for AROS? =)

You are correct - the game uses shaders and other stuff available in OpenGL 2.x. This support is delivered by Mesa which is AROS 3D sub system. :) _________________ https://www.axrt.org

My recent hardware purchases are with AMD graphics hardware e.g. Radeon HD 6950, 5770, 5730M/6570M(i.e. Dell Studio XPS 1645 laptop), 6250M (i.e. Acer Iconia W500 tablet).
I gave away my old gaming laptop e.g. 2007 era ASUS G1Sn with NVIDIA Geforce 9500M GS to a family member.Last edited by Hammer on 09-Jul-2011 at 10:56 AM. Last edited by Hammer on 09-Jul-2011 at 10:46 AM. Last edited by Hammer on 09-Jul-2011 at 10:43 AM.

| Great news for AROS (they go really well ahead!)! As well as RtCW was for MOS!
Wish AOS4 would close the gap regarding 3D and ported games soon! |

| When the OS4 version sees the light of day I hope to see a fair of you guys playing online. Personally I play Assault Cube as its the latest and greatest; I understand kas1e has a near-working version of that too. It would sure make a change to play with Amiga users rather than the current crop of teenie boppers that play day in day out with their foul language, bad spelling and lame in-game voting.
Be sure to include 'Amiga' in your player name. Last edited by djrikki on 10-Jul-2011 at 02:54 AM. Last edited by djrikki on 10-Jul-2011 at 02:53 AM.
