nice interview.

re: SSFII turbo, whilst hugely appreciated, does anyone else stuggle to see the improvements? Or is it just my knackered eyes?

A quick note to anyone who considers taking a holiday Down Under: Alice Springs is only figuratively speaking "in the shadow of" Uluru (aka Ayers Rock). In a literal sense, it's a 5 hour drive each way....

Many a tourist has made the mistake of considering it a quick day trip, because the lack of towns or roads on the map makes it look like the two are next to each other. Very bad idea! Plan at least a couple of days, not the least because the real magic happens at sunrise and sunset. Oh, and definitely add another stop and spend the night at Kings Canyon, for a sunrise hike along the rim walk!

Great interview Obligement team, always nice to hear from genuinely positive users like Cammy, and by the way "Meow" on AROS seems like a very nice idea (and the name is great).

Keep on with the good work Cammy, good luck with your projects!

I should try the latest version of BOH!

I've got the old version here.

...and I keep hearing that it's got better and better.

it seems to be mostly removing a bit of mess caused by badly scaled backrounds and adding a little dithering to some bad gradients.

I wouldn't mind knowing how it was done, i would quite enjoy spending some time trying to improve the look of that game since the graphics are the only thing letting it down. I wonder if it's something i could have a go at myself.

Wow, those were some seriously bad graphics for the A1200!!! I hear that GameTek's Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo had better graphics but rubbish gameplay!!! I'll stick with Hyper Streetfighter 2 on the PS2 - Awesome with my Ken joypad

Hadouken!!!!

I just downloaded the latest BOH version V14. It's much nicer than V10. Music is great and movements allow excellent sensitivity. Much improved gameplay. Even better once you're a registered user you get upgrades for free.

I think we better do an update at the next MAUG meeting.
