| Why London? The capital is too far from anywhere else. Rich bankers are not as likely to by X1000s as us sun starved/fun starved northerners! _________________ "Art challenges technology. Technology inspires the art." John Lasseter, Co-Founder of Pixar Animation Studios

| @BigD
@cos Steve lives near and it's his A1X1000
How far would you go to show off your fancy new toy?
I'm working in Norfolk, not too far away, maybe I can get a leave pass from the wife if I work an extra day. Hmmmm.

| I love the news and venues pages on ANTs website. They even appear to have venues booked for 2033!!!! _________________ Fred Booth ======================================== A500, A600, A1200 c/w Mediator and 030 AmigaOne and OS4.1 Mac LCII, G4 Powermac running OSX + Amigakit and MorphOS 3.0 Dell Mini 10 Netbook running IcAros and AmigaForever+Amikit+AmigaSys 2006 Macb

| Oh, I am most envious that you guys are showing the X1000 at your club meet. Will you be in the side room again or will you be in the main hall? Too bad I can't afford the airfare to go again.

Just to remind all.
I am happy to travel further if I get help with the travel costs, so up north is just petrol money and further is maybe a flight and somebody letting me sleep on a couch. _________________ Amiga 1000, 3000D Toaster, Checkmate A1500 Plus http://www.checkmate1500plus.com/

| Neat, will people attending, not under NDA, be able to report back on how the system performs and maybe even video of the machine running. I am surprise that very little has come out at Amiwest and the French show in this area.
I'm working unfortunately and as it Sundays I get paid a little more so I cant afford to be off specially if I end up getting a Order confirmation from AmigaKit

| If it really is as fast as you can imagine, now, running beta code, debug, unoptimised drivers, no decent GPU support, limited IO, restricted CPU extension activation...
I want to see what this psychonaught can do in overdrive.

| @serk118 Have you visited ANT before? (It is difficult to tell when people insist on using strange on-line nicknames that have nothing to do with their real name, and I still do not understand why anyone does that.) _________________ Author of the PortablE programming language. | @cluster
we could travel around the world (like OS4 on Tour) but this time X1k on tour :)
nah seriously though i think its a wee bit early to showcase the setup and os4 for it.
Cool to know the ANT (heads :p) get to see the monster in action, hopefully it will recruit some more interest in the X1k and also get more people back into OS4 again. _________________ See my blog and collection website! . https://www.blog.amigaguru.com
