posted by MikeB on 28-Jun-2003 23:22:10 (1557 reads)
An Amiga port of Dave Baum's Lego Mindstorms compiler and communiaction program has been released. Not Quite C (NQC) is a simple language with a C-like syntax that can be used to program Lego's programmable bricks RCX, RCX 2, Cybermaster, Scout and Spybotics.

I am not a programmer so i do not understand
exactly what this program does, but there is
one thing i surely want for OS 4.x or 5.0 and
that is that it works together with the lego
stuff. I remember the C=64 days when there
where great projects you could do with all
sorts of building-sets true books. It is like a
sort of interactive thing between the computer
and the toys, i think that the Amiga could take
a place here as home-computer for kids.

Maybe a small box with the OS in a flashrom
and some new kids programmes would do great.

De groetjes, Dirk.
