Downloaded demo to try on my SAM460 fitted with \Radeon HD 4650 and got 2 GrimReapers, cancelled first one (via cancel DSL errors) but second stopped demo loading but system still working!

Just tried the demo on my sam44ep 667MHz system and sadly it far to slow to be playable

If this is a speed improved version I dread to think how slow it was before each screen fade take 10 - 15 seconds and I got a recoverable error when I tried to exit the game buy pressing Escape when I got fed up of the slow screen fades, so all in all sadly I will need to give this game a fail for now.

I guess you speak about transition effects between screens. The game itself is 30% faster (I mean when you collect the letters). The FPS is displayed at end of each level. What is it for you?

Well, lots of changes :)
Do you speak about transition effects between screen?

Yep it's slow on transition effects but also in all the step before playing, then the game in general is ok, it's faster enough as previews versions

After further investigations with Sicky...

The Gream reaper is due to AHI or to the sound driver. If I remember well, the Audio driver on the Sam 460 is still in early beta status.

This is a file to unlha and copy to "texte" subdirectory of the game:
http://glames.free.fr/products/wordmeupxxl/wmupxxl_prefs.lha
You'll use the game without sound effects nor musics.

Once a final sound driver will be released, we'll see how it works with WMUP XXL.
