Thanks.

Loved this part

This technology is more than just a browser, it is an enabling technology, bringing powerful tools such as html5, WebM, JavaScript, XUL, and more to AmigaOS 4.x. These are the building blocks for other applications as well, such as the email client "Thunderbird" or the media center "Songbird".

Also, requirements is contradicting on OS4 depot says OS 4.1.5 while
Friedens HQ says AmigaOS 4.1 (Update 4) is required to run this version of Timberwolf.

4.1.4 is enough, or we will all get 4.1.5 really soon

So X1000 owners will probably enjoy it more - but hey they payed alot to get that extra cream!

They deserve it

Thanks for posting that. I see that it says:

Quote:
Minimum Requirements:

AmigaOS 4.1 (Update 4) is required to run this version of Timberwolf.

I wonder why OS4 Depot says it requires Update 5?

The devs knew it would sometimes crash at exit with update 4, so they just wrote update 5...a small mistake, nothing else.

This is pretty huge. Firefox is finally on the amiga! Those crazy Germans finally did it

Can someone try the more critical plugins like NoScript and AdBlockPlus and report back?

[edit] Here's a good list to try...

WELL DONE to the Timberwolf team!!! New version installed great (posting from it now) on my AmigaOne XE. Seems quite a bit faster than the last version! One BIG step closer for the Amiga being a system that could be used as an everyday desktop!! In case anyone cares, Timberwolf initial load time for me was 49 seconds.

Second load time was 21 seconds. LOVE the Timberwolf logo too!!
