The V.A.M.P. player is available for download for AmigaOS4, MorphOS, and Windows on its site: http://www.vamp.es
This multimedia player is programmed with Hollywood and it uses part of the source code from Andreas Falkenhahn examples to VideoPlayer and AnimPlayer. I make this little tool to demonstrate the multimedia options of this programming language. It isn't a substitute of other best video players, but almost. Use this a little tool to test the video formats supported for Hollywood.

| Thanks for yet another update. VAMP is getting better each time. Sound on some of my movies is very low, yet ok on others. The same files play with OK volume in MPlayer. Any ideas _________________ AmigaOne X1000

| I tried it for the 1st time and it is doing its job -> well done !
now it "just" need a playlist...
in the guide, it is said : - you can resize from the right bottom -> does not work - additional info are display in the title bar -> nothing more than the time, would be good to have all informations of the file being played in the main window
this is on my A1XEG4+AOS4.1upd5 |

| I can't help thinking that vampir.es would have been a better domain name to register
Maybe it's because it's near Hallowe'en. _________________ "Miracles we do at once, the impossible takes a little longer" - AJS on Hyperion Avatar is Tabitha by Eric W Schwartz

I've found the same with movies. I think I have an idea why audio files aren't working for me. _________________ -- -=#Val#=- Valiant@Camelot

| Yes, there is this problem of sound volume with Hollywood, it handles the sound level very low, only with mixer in OS4 you can raise it a little. |

| @Chris_Y Not because the program is V.A.M.P. Virtual Amiga Multimedia Player not Vampire player and the Virtual because it isn't 100% in real because it uses the Hollywood player as base with its good and bad things. |

What, no Mac OSX executable? Tsk, tsk.
Just downloaded the MorphOS version, I'll check it out later.
Thanks, keep up the good work. Last edited by OldAmigan on 04-Nov-2012 at 10:14 AM.

| @OldAmigan Because I can't test it, only I have installed in my MacMini the MorphOS 3.1 not the MacOS PPC, but if you take responsability to do test I can send you the MAC version for PPC or x86. |
