Thank you. We plan to release a limited number on CD together with the original OST.
Registered buyers of the download version have the internal staturs "GEMZ" so you would pay automatically only the difference price.

Than you also have now the chance to win an IndieGO!:

Well, it seems strange and pointless to tag a storyline on a game like this. And a seperate OST CD for such a simple game? Even stranger! I don't want to come off as negative, it's just that the game SEEMS to be as basic a version as you can get of this type, yet there is a big fancy release text and a large soundtrack available on separate CD. It's just... twilight-zone-ish :S

But it can ofcourse still be a good game :)

I've given up trying to install this game (the demo). You don't know where to unarchive the installer, nor the data. Too complicated for me, sorry.

Data archive:
unpack it where you want, you will have a folder called GEMZ with stuff inside

Installer:
unpack it where you want, double click Installer, il will ask you "where is the GEMZ data folder?", select the parent folder of GEMZ, the one that contains GEMZ.

And you are done!

@ Alladon

I did exactly that twice, but I got an error and the installation quits.

Requiring to download half a gigabyte of data just to play the demo is highly discouraging, especially if it downloads at only 100 kB/s (my Internet connection can handle much more...). For now I have ETA of a hour and half... In my opinion you should rethink it. If the demo is limited to 5 minutes, I doubt the whole 488 MB is really needed.

OK, download failed after 180 MB. I guess there is no point to waste more time on this game. It is written in Hollywood anyway, so I know what I may expect.

@g_kraszewski
but the positive aspect is that if you decide to buy it you have to download nothing more, I'll send you the new executable and you are done :P

if you decide to buy it

No I've already decided to not buy it, I have been only irritated. It is really hard to understand why the hell a game, which seems to be a simple casual puzzle, must use 0.5 GB of data. Even 43 minutes of soundtrack cannot take that much space, even encoded in 320 kbps MP3...

@K-L Date

Actually it`s not that hard. You may unpack the .lha archives wherever you want, the data preferably to a partition (it`s ~400MB).

Let`s say you unpack it to Work: , so you`ll have Work:GEMZ/ with the data in it.
You run the installer (the other unpacked file, this one could be unpacked to RAM: , you won`t need it anymore after the installation), and ask you the place you have the GEMZ/ data directory.
You choose Work: (not Work:GEMZ/ !!!).
That`s all, the installation procedes, and when it`s complete, you have the executable in Work:GEMZ/ ready to run.

P.S. Regarding the installation error, pay attention to the instructions: you have to choose the path GEMZ/ is located, that is the parent directory of GEMZ/

One thing to note about mp3's:
You aren't allowed to use this format in a commercial game without a license.
It is allowed to release it 5000times... well...

One thing to note about mp3's:
True, but there are free formats with comparable quality and compression. Anyway downloading the file (after resume) failed for me the second time.
