| AROS is getting better every day, and this version is very cool.
For those of you wanting to run this in VMWare Fusion on the Mac.
You can get the networking working in the virtual machine, by shutting down vmware fusion, going into Documents/Virtual Machines.localized/VirtualMachineName/VirtualMachineName.vmx and changing ethernet0.virtualDev = "e1000" to ethernet0.virtualDev = "vlance" which will make it match the driver that AROS has for the pcnet32 device.
The VESA driver will put you into a 2048 pixel wide resolution by default, you can fix that, by editing sys:boot/grub/grub.cfg inside iCaros, I replaced
multiboot /boot/bootstrap-pc.gz vesa=32bit ATA=32bit floppy=disabled enableusb
with
multiboot /boot/bootstrap-pc.gz vesa=1024x768@60 ATA=32bit floppy=disabled enableusb
You can obviously change it to 1280x1024, or 1440x900 or whatever you want... _________________ --- Sibbi

| Another trick to get a more suitable VESA mode by default is to reduce the amount of graphics memory in the VM to e.g. 4MB. This works in VirtualBox anyway. |
