software OS4   software OS4 : AmiSafe - Amiga OS4 Password Protection
   posted by scabit on 29-Jan-2013 3:50:45 (1749 reads)
Now available - my first commercial Amiga OS4 program - AmiSafe!

AmiSafe is a password protection program for Amiga OS4 that uses a simple Reaction interface to allow you to enter and store all of your credit/bank card, internet or other passwords and information. Your passwords are encoded using a rijndael encoding algorithm that ensures that only your master password will unlock the information.

A demo of AmiSafe may be found on OS4Depot.

Click READ MORE for additional info:

This version is limited to a hardcoded password and only a few entries of storage. The full version of AmiSafe can be purchased for $5 USD using paypal by contacting AmigaDevelopment()gmail.com for the paypal address, or by making a $5 USD donation for AmiSafe on the Jack App Store.

You can see an overview of AmiSafe on my Blog Site.

Please consider supporting my software development so I can continue to make more fun and useful Amiga programs!

Ehe, i still have some of my passwords on a Palm, even though i used another program than BeSafe... but it's very handy (not only the program itself was handy, but don't get me started on Palm )
Will try this asap

Cool!
I have been planning to write a program like that for some time but never got around to. Now you saved me the trouble for a humble $5. Thanks!
(just hope it suits my needs then...)
Currently I have ALL my passwords for everything in one single text file!!!!

Good thing I can remote in by FTP to get the file if I really really have to. Bad thing is, it's available over FTP!!!!

Sounds like the Passkey program, I wrote last year. But it only works on CLI. Script GUI controllable.

@Deniil715

It helps if you encrypt the file.

Was you telling us where to find it next?

@Hypex

Well the server does have a DNS name, but even if you find that, and manage to force the password, you will still not find it too easy to find the actual file

But it would be nice if there was a shell version for windows or something to make recovery from a backup possible in case of Amiga HD crash or fire or whatever.
