ok, something is off here...
The game won't run from the icon but it works if i run it from shell but then i get the insert Bin: and insert gcc: stuff when running em from a clean upd6 install.

you should clean up the bin and gcc stuff as not everyone has the sdk installed (like my test partition).

as for the start from icon thing... no idea what's going on but i will take a closer look soon.

This behaviour most often happens when a linux port attempts to find it's own directory by searching the "path" for itself.

@broadblues

sure but that is very easy to remove/set if you skim the source , i used to do that in my ports anyway.

Yes it does. You must change the tooltype of the icon provided with the game from WB to CLI so it will run from a shell to get it to work from the icon....

Sorry for the gcc assignment but sometimes is hard to track which is the culprit library.. and why it has the SDK assignments.. i'll try to understand which is the library and i'll remove the gcc dependances
