| aTunes Tags CoverArt editor has 2 copies of libtag.so, one in the main drawer and one in data. might be an idea to upload the archive again without the duplicate. _________________ OS4 Rocks X1000 beta tester, Sam440 Flex (733)

| For aTunes_Cover_AAmp, both are needed.
Except if you put them in your SObjs: drawer. In this case you can simply delete them. _________________ http://apps.amistore.net/zTools

ok, as both are needed what about making one a link to the other? That will save archive space for those few still on dialup or capped accounts.
I had already put a copy in sobjs though. _________________ OS4 Rocks X1000 beta tester, Sam440 Flex (733)

| Yes, but I tried it and aTunes_Cover crashed after few songs changes.
Therefore I revert back and listen music since 1 hour without crash. Strange... _________________ http://apps.amistore.net/zTools

| Nice
Is it possible to remove ID3v2 tags, or copy from ID3v1, since some does not contain any info, like the braindead "Various artists - Unknown title"?
I have correct filenames on all my music, and most have correct or none ID3v1 tag, but some have this existing but empty ID3v2 that shadows the real title and artist when playing and it is very annoying. _________________ - Don't get fooled by my avatar, I'm not like that (anymore, mostly... maybe only sometimes) > Amiga Classic and OS4 developer for OnyxSoft.

| @Deniil175 To be sure that I understand well.
Your songs have id3v1 tags and id3v2 tags and you would like to see only id3v1 tags in aTunes, right ?
Could you send me a song sample saying me exactly what aTunes have to display ? _________________ http://apps.amistore.net/zTools

| Yes, I have songs with both ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags but the ID3v2 tag is broken and contain only dummy values (from silly PC ripping tools that create ID3v2 even if they fails to get proper data from the Internet). The problem is that AmigaAMP will then hide my perfectly composed filename and instead display this dummy information which typically is verbatim "Unknown artist - Title" or something similarly meaningless.
I would like to be able to remove these dummy tags, or fill them in with data from the ID3v1 tags (or even filename), which usually have better data in them. _________________ - Don't get fooled by my avatar, I'm not like that (anymore, mostly... maybe only sometimes) > Amiga Classic and OS4 developer for OnyxSoft.

| Yes!!
AmigaAMP displays these. I'll see if I can find one....
Found one: ID3v2 (since AAMP refuse to edit it) Artist: artist Title: Track 01 Album: title Genre: genre
AAMP then displays "artist - Track 01" instead of the filename which actually contains the correct info. I'd like to just remove these tags, blank them out or whatever. _________________ - Don't get fooled by my avatar, I'm not like that (anymore, mostly... maybe only sometimes) > Amiga Classic and OS4 developer for OnyxSoft.

| I haven't tested aTunes yet, that's why I was asking It sounds like a really nice program, especially if it can help me with this. The simplest feature would simply be if it can delete or clear an ID3v2 tag. _________________ - Don't get fooled by my avatar, I'm not like that (anymore, mostly... maybe only sometimes) > Amiga Classic and OS4 developer for OnyxSoft.
