Amigaworld.net News   Amigaworld.net News : 5 years of the AresOne
posted by phoenixkonsole on 22-Sep-2014 19:05:55 (1710 reads)
5 years ago I started with the "ArmigaOne" in mind (which was later renamed to "AresOne") to offer cheap AROS compatible systems, which was not as easy back then.
Money earned from sales, plus a lot if my own, was put into several AROS bounties. Around the AresOne we created a pre-configured distribution called AROS Broadway (later Broadway X as part of Aeros), AMC (amiga media center) and other small or bigger projects. Sometimes it was just fun, sometimes it was stressful, but it still it was a good time.

Long story short: Everyone who registers until end of September 2014 at www.ares-shop.de will get a lifetime discount of 3%. Already registered customers should contact me because I have no way to change customer discounts on the fly (I will change them when contacted, including after the end of September deadline).

This is not all. I will start a sale offer at the coming weekend. Have a good time.

5 years is a very long time. Standing for so long in such a niche market is a double achievement.

Again, congrats!

Thank you guys,
yes 5 fast and exciting years.

Btw.. you don't need to buy now to get the 3% discount. Just register during September and buy in 10 years ; )
If you buy later things like app-store vouchers, you get the discount as well.
I would take the chance.
