Does anyone know if this card works with the driver and would it work with my sam440ep (mini-itx) system. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Club3D-RADEON-512MB-PASSIVE-CGA-5452PLI/dp/B004UCVONG

As its the only PCI RadeonHD that I cant find easily available and it would be nice to have more video ram than the onboard video offers with the sam440ep.

- Fixed the temporary memory remapping code used when copying
the graphics card's ROM (needed for the Cyrus motherboard)
- 3D drivers using the RadeonHD_RM.resource wouldn't work properly
after a soft reboot. FIXED

- Broken builds

I wonder what the point of maintaining two seperate version is? Seems confusing at first.

Any news related to HDMI audio driver?

As I would like to use the new Warp3D driver on my Sam460 I need double sized PCI-e graphic card.

A double sized card requires to get rid of my PCI Sata adapter and use the onboard SATA or the SD card.
If I go for the onboard SATA I must get rid of the Envy 24 HT, but the Sam460 onboard audio is crap.

And before Spectree says anything, yes, I know that you solved the problem using a PCI-e riser.
That's great, but I would really love to use only one cable for audio and video.

Plus HDMI audio on the Sam460ex has very good quality (Linux) .

For now I'm back-porting relevant bug-fixes to the 1.x branch. The fix to solve the "no 3D after soft reset" bug is especially relevant, considering that the 1.x version was sold as being "ready for 3D." It's a bit of a pain to maintain two versions, but I think that 1.x owners deserve to have a fully working driver.

i guess the limited 4x pci-e-port of my sam460lite will never ever use the full power that these cards offer.

Sorry, but I simply can't answer that question. I know that the Evergreen Warp3D driver (for 5xxx/6xxx cards) is being worked on, and progress is being made. However, I simply don't know how long it will take.

A few Sam460 users have the driver, so they should be able to tell you what performance is like. I'm still hoping to improve the performance a bit more, but it remains to be seen by how much.

I noticed a speedup with the new 2D driver when playing 720p Videos with the old DVPlayer, before it was about 2-5fps and now it seems to be about 15-20 fps. Maybe this effect comes due AmigaOS4.1 Final Edition or new driver + FE ?

And an old Hollywood FullHD 2D-Benchmark brings about ~160 fps instead of ~125 fps, but also with the newest Hollywood 6 Version, so it profit from new HW-Version, new Driver-Version and AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition

It becomes faster and faster with each new update and that is very satisfying
