My fellow amigans,

I'm glad to announce that "The Secret of Middle City" is finally out!

At present the Win32 and MacOS versions (both i386 and PowerPC) are available as Digital Delivery via the italian Zodiac Store and you can find them here.

AmigaOS and MorphOS version will instead be available soon with a boxed edition!

GDG Entertainment and DreamsArtStudio wish to thanks each and everyone of you for your outstanding support.

A special thanks must be given to all the testers and traslators. This wouldn't have been possible without you!

@ lionstorm

Sadly, PC/Mac versions won't have a boxed edition. We are a very small indie team and at this time we couldn't afford it.

As for system specs, here they are:

- Windows versions require at least Windows 2000;
- Mac Intel versions require at least Mac OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard);
- Mac PowerPC versions require at least Mac OS 10.4 (Tiger);
- 200MB free space on hard disk;
- 512MB RAM.

We tested the game on many different systems and the game seems to run well even on old or emulated platforms. RAM occupancy at runtime is around 50MB.

@all

Thanks for the appreciation.
I hope to be able to get back to you guys soon with other good news.

Ahh, too bad. Wasn't there enough space left on the CD to just put those on it too?
Not that it really matters to me since I'll play the Amiga version only anyway

I think it would be good idea to put all the versions to same box, that way you could sell them on PC / MAC side too, and it would stand out from rest of the small independent games. Plus it could even fool someone to buy thinking "Hey, they have even boxed version, it must be good them that they can afford it".

Notice also, that you could use same pictures/sounds/music for each version and just have the .exe different. That way each additional version would probably take just 5 mb or something (supposing your code is pretty big in size)

Good for WinUAE/OS4 (seems to work OK, only mouse pointer is trashed). Sure, one can use Windows version.

No, it was just a different choice made by the copyright owner. I hope it pays off, but to me is just an awesome achievement having make it so far.

@Bugala
Yes, it can be done, since the different versions share the same assets and the executable is around 2MB for each version. Besides, save files are totally compatibles among versions.

@pavlor
Thanks!
BTW, what do you mean the mouse pointer is trashed?

Just got the game for windows, and it looks good.

Did get a Hollywood error message when trying to open fullscreen, so played windowed.

Either way, always enjoyed this type of games
