Nice! I think I can use a couple of those.

Now to find a reasonable SCSI to SATA adapter. The ones out there are very out there $$$

What are the transfer speeds during read and write?

@Geri:
Since the board looks to be originating from this project:

http://www.codesrc.com/mediawiki/index.php?title=SCSI2SD

I guess the numbers on that page are still valid. Which means it's not really suited for high performance SCSI hardware, but would probably be very nice for your A590 or older A2000 SCSI cards, or even A3000 mainboard one.

The same wiki page also lists additional board versions (2,5") and other sources to purchase.

I installed one of these in my GVP 530 a couple weeks ago and I couldn't be happier. Most apps start instantly and I think it's a bit faster than the old SCSI 1 drive that it replaced.

Also heat is drastically reduced and it's totally silent.

A PATA version would be good, to replace all those aging, heat-producing, noisy IDE drives out there.

PATA version? You can get a variety of PATA to SD adapters on eBay for peanuts. Both 40pin and 44pin versions exist. Most of them work fine with Amiga computers. (It seems AmigaKit only has IDE to CF in stock, maybe they will add an IDE to SD later?)

Not sure if it will make a difference but there are different class types of micro SD cards. So a faster card may improve speed.

it should now be possible to transfer data direct from your smartphone to computer (if phone has SD card slot). ..photos,videos & files.

well opened up my A1000 scsi drive case to install one of these BUT this is what I found:

a 3.5" MFM 30MB HD. So it looks like the scsi controller is going thorugh a ST506 interface then to the MFM HD so question is there an adapter to go back to scsi?? or can I get an adapter from the scsi controller direct to the scs2sd board??
some info on my HD (Golem HD3000A) here

so anyway to use this or, if not, does anyone want to buy one new never opened
