software OS4   software OS4 : Final Burn Alpha - Alchimie Edition
   posted by K-L on 18-Nov-2015 12:45:24 (2665 reads)
During the Alchimie in France, Huno presented the latest version of FBA. This emulator, which can emulate more than 20 systems such a Megadrive (Genesis in the US), Colecovision, Master System, Capcom CS-1/2/3, Neo Geo, Cave, etc, has been heavily updated by Hugues.

Indeed FBA runs very well on the X1000 with filters activated (more than 10 different graphic filters can be used) but still plays very well on Sam440 without any filter.

A huge work has also been realized on the configurable GUI with many options (such as FPS limiting, demo mode, sound output, and so on). More than 8000 ROMs are supported (you'll have to find thoses by yourself) for hours of gaming !

Final Burn Alpha can be downloaded from Huno's Final Burn Alpha page
You can also watch the conference given by Huno during the Alchimie, showing many news coming from him.

Is cool for the Amiga community that the Amiga gets some games on emulators like this released on forthcoming and well suited emulators...!!!!!!! Niccccccccccceeeeeeeeeee!!!!

I love you and your games.

But I prefer MAME better than this even like HUNo is great on the emulators like it was before like Neo Geo like it but like MAME so much more and I like it because its features like the GFX filters but I prefer MAME all in all to resume the situation,I like it very much,I supposse you people too, like it.

Buy or try an emul like this don't to be dissapointed with this emulator.Huno is good in our jobs to get good nAmiga releases.Thankssssssssssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!

Buy it or die!!!

Buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes it's possible
You have an mail with a beta
Actually a work of new version on W.IP and i continue my work for fixing
- FBA 0.2.97.36 R2 for AmigaOS4 [hunoppc].
- Fixed gui_load_cfg on game_load_cfg now loading correctly your favorite default prefs [hunoppc]
- Added Page UP and Page Down on list of games (thanks guillaume for this request), use key of keyboard PAGEDOWN and PAGEUP [hunoppc]
- Fix 2 libs SDL_images and libpng for errors and warnings on loading previews and wheels (faulty on os4depot, no respect a dependence and updates) now i have compiled my personal library's and he work fine. My old problems: warnings "iCCP: know incorrect sRGB profile" and crash with error "bad adaptive filter value", now enjoy. [hunoppc]
- Update and fix italian locale [samo79]
- Added save a preview if not present on dir .fba/previews and not replace the original file if is present [hunoppc]
- Fixed crash after quit FBA, problem is for copymem on feature "cut a long names and limit to 80 caracters" [hunoppc]

Huno with this version of Final Burn I'm using the registered LibBoostyV2 and it seems to work well, but in the readme it's written to delete it since it's not compatible.
Are you referring to the old boosty library or also the one I use (registered to omolungo) has to be replaced?

Hello, not if your fba works is that your key is valid, this message is for those who have not been updated for a long time and crash occurs with the first generation of libboostyv2 key, thank you.
