    Congrats to the MOS team!

@Phantom: I'd love to see an ARM port to run on my Raspberry Pi 2 - I'm pretty sure it's in the same ballpark as the SAM460 and definitely more powerful than an Efika, so it should run pretty well.

What version was GCC in the previous SDK? i.e. Is it just a minor update to GCC, or a major update?

The previous SDK had GCC 4.4.5, so it's a major upgrade because of the C++11 and C++14 support.

Don't they have a habit of releasing an updated SDK shortly before a new version?

I've just this week gotten around to updating my powerbook g4 to MorphOS 3.9 and enjoying it very much.

Also, if they've taken the time to update GCC for MorphOS to 5.x, won't this be something they'll release under their opensource links so that other Amiga systems can see what it takes to port GCC? The last one I've seen was 2.95 or something iike that.

The toolchain has always been open source, you can download it from their website.

GCC 5.3 is the most recent version anywhere, so this is as major as it gets!

This opens up for a lot of exciting stuff...

The old default one versions was/is 2.95.3 and 4.4.5
They are still included and can be selected with the GCCSelect script in the SDK...
