Would of brought this but at £14 it way to high for a magazine. Amiga future is only £6.75 and includes a CD. What are they thinking I know Amiga stuff is more expensive due to limited sales. That does not mean we can and well be taken for complete mugs.....

@g01df1sh
Your calculations look wrong to me:

When I checked the price of a single issue of Amiga Future including shipping, it came to 8.50 Euros (£7.33) withOUT a CD, and 11.50 Euros (£9.92) WITH a CD.

By comparison, the new Amiga User magazine lists itself as costing 14 Euros (i.e. £12) including shipping.

So yes, on a like for like basis, AU is more expensive than AF, but not by as much as you are saying (£7.33 vs £12). Hopefully they get enough readers that they can afford to reduce the price (printing on dead trees costs a lot).

I notice that Amiga User offer a PDF-only version (something that Amiga Future do NOT offer *), at just 4 Euros (£3.50), which makes them half the price of AF:

(* which is why I no-longer get Amiga Future)

Looking at the OS books on the same site they do offer a lot better value for money than the magazines. Hopefully when I get A1222 I will buy OS4 book

I placed an order for a copy and figured that I should finally get the OS 4.1 Everyday book too while I was at it. Keep up the hard work - looks like this group is producing some great things for the community!

One thing missing, which might tempt me to buy the real magazine, is a sample PDF (or even images) that contains a few pages of the real magazine.
