good to see ImageFX available after such a long time. any plans for bugfixes, ports to PPC etc?

I sold my SAM460ex lite... waiting for money to buy a Raspberry Pi... or a Classic A1000 with Buffee... or an A1222... and OS4.3 FE update 11

If i'm not mistaked, version 4.5 was the latest release from H&P right ?
But this new one still marked as 4.5 aswell and only the 68k architecture seems supported natively, even if i read a new date and updated copyright in the grabs above.

So what's new in this release ?

Is the same situation that was with Personal Paint and the new version from A-Eon, new effects and new price and without updates, the original version from Cloanto is better and stable under 68k than A-Eon cash version.

I'm not sure what version you're using, but the updated Personal Paint for 68K and PPC that I purchased have quite a few improvements over the Cloanto version, and I find it much more stable. For me the price was well worth it.

As for ImageFX I don't know just yet. It looks that this is just a re-release of the last version, making it available for sale again. So at least this way people can easily get a retail version again without hunting around on EBay. I hope A-EON will start to add new features, make bug fixes, etc., again.

They have every right to make money from the IP they spent money to aquire. They've owned it for 5 years now so at least it's on sale again and the price is reasonable whether it's been updated or not.

I have or I think to have the last version of Personal Paint,yes it has some improvements more than last version of Cloanto, but as I tell you I think to have the last version because an unpleasant situation was over two years ago when I tryed to donwload again the Personal Paint and A-EON closed my account, and I can't donwload the program neither the drivers for my Sam460ex, I see that A-EON closed the old counts, must be that you hava buy all theirs products to make cash.

I have just checked your Amisphere account and it is very much still active so I am not sure why you are reporting here that it is closed.

The bottom line is that investment and development will be put into any application that generates sales. If there is no demand for software then the future development cannot be paid for. No one is getting rich off this. In fact almost all OS4 software developments either break even or make a loss unfortunately.

I tryed download several times with Firefox and OWB and the account not opens, I want download the PPaint last version but I didn't got it.

About the sales, yes, but we need new software not oonly old software glories like this case.

Try Chrome or Edge if Firefox doesn't work.

Good to see ImageFX available to buy, but why so long to release the 2003 version with only update being the copyright notice?

How well does the software work with images from a modern digital camera given it is almost 20 years old? In the screenshots here there are not even any photos loaded.

For me price is too high to download software this old in the hope that A-EON might update it one day.

How did they do the anti aliased fonts in OS3.x by the way? AFA OS or is that supported natively now in OS 3.1.4?

I've been playing around with ArtEffect 4 today, can't remember half of what I used to be able to do though!
