Amigaworld.net News   Amigaworld.net News : News from the Amigaland
posted by Amigaland on 14-Jul-2023 22:50:23 (1578 reads)
If you study our site attentively, you might have already found what you were looking for. Yes, there are some new reviews from amigafan.de (our partner site), by the way it now appears in a new layout. I like it in any case. We were able to upload all games from California Dreams to the site. The best known game is probably Street Rod. Here you can still pimp the good old Ami sledges and race against them. Also known should be the Blockout variant. At Amigaland.de now all games by California Dreams are available. This month the titles Street Rod, Street Rod 2: The Next Generation, Blockout, Tunnels of Armageddon, TrianGO and Vegas Gambler have been added to that collection of legally downloadable software. Soon we will put new profiles of Amiga game makers online. Some, which are not so well known. See you soon!

Uh... "legally downloadable software"? More like questionable, shady software. The thought of you having brokered a deal with Electronic Arts and Activision Blizzard among others (owner of Sierra On-Line's IP) is laughable.

But then again, you would never mind showing the public proof that you have the blessing of these companies to distribute the "legally downloadable software" they own, now would you?

Please feel free to consider this post an early warning of a lawsuit coming your way.

I have only a text that says you can. Would that be proof enough?. Do you think you get a certificate for that? It's not that unusual. Even BTTR had the license years ago. I have therefore changed all references to BTTR. Maybe that'll calm you down. Electronic Arts Games? I Dont have!
