| Nice box. It would be good to have a conversion kit for modern floppy drives. Like ones in USB cases that have some micro connector. |

One simple reason is drivers. It uses a custom serial protocol to transfer data back and forth. I think it needs firmware to support mass storage standards to be compatible with all OS without needing a proprietary driver. |

The Greaseweazle should be recognized as COM port on a PC, usually you could have more than one, so if the software is written correctly you could have access to more than one device at the same time. |

The protocol on the PC side is open sourced if someone does a port to any AmigaOID it should be possible ... |
