A little tip with Pintor Web you can resize the image in this article before to upload, because with some browsers the web will show a few bad.

Thanks Juan, usually this 800x646 resolution is fine on all forums, even on mobile phones it is perfect as a resolution.

Pintor Web works well and I have noticed that you don't lose quality when reducing image resolutions

AROS supports Icons Amiga OS 1.3, 2.x, 3.1, 3.2, 3.9, OS4, OS 4.1, PowerIcon, MorphOS Icon, Glow Icon OS 3.9, Glow Icons DualPNG OS3.

Practically any icon is supported, however using old Glow Icons on AROS x86/68k is mortifying as AROS uses high quality RTG screens, whether you have a supported Video Card or in VESA mode.

I was wanting to try AROS by installing it to my PC, but I don't seem to find any simple guide on how to do it, or is it so that it is not simple to do at all?

Seemed to be talking of making partition to hard disk etc.

Is there any clear tutorial how to install AROS to a modern PC, or is it even doable?

Installing AROS One on a PC is easier done than explained.

First of all you have to have a PC that supports AROS, this PC should be one of the ones you used to install WinXP or Win7, it's difficult for it to work on new PCs, you can see HERE the supported and tested Hardware.

AROS One can also be installed in DualBoot with Win7,Win8,Win10 (personally tested), this operation if you are not experienced can destroy Windows systems and other partitions.

If you are using a PC with no system installed then everything is easier, the installation is the same as on a Virtual machine, the only difference is that you do not have to configure anything, you simply run InstallAROS as shown in the attached videos:

Initially, I recommend that you try the USB image.

Once it has been burnt onto a 4 GB PenDrive or larger, you can start it on your PC.

The Live Pendrive is up and running, you can run most of the software included on AROS One including the Browser, without the need to install on the HD.

The same thing you can do with the ISO or DVD, in which case applications that save data on the system will not work.

Not sure if my older PC is old enough either.

You could use a VM, AROS One works well on VMware, VirtualBox and QEmu
