Elena Novaretti has released a new version of PowerIcons. This version should solve many problems people were experiencing with the first release. The latest release can be downloaded here.
Yes, after the incident on Amiga.org i became an active betatester for elena , and now all the problems is removed and 1.04 is great.
so now you all can move up from 1.01 to 1.04 without any fear , its a quality product and remeber its a hack/patch but its a good one and one of thoose you really need! (gfx card users)

After installing the new version, I noticed that it seems to be much, much slower than the previous ones. The difference is quite huge actually. Though I'm not sure about the scrolling speed, but when I open a drawer the icons are appearing very slow. The earlyer versions didn't have such problems.
