I have just heard on good authority that that this mystery device implements an updated version of SneakerNet --> ShoeNet.

That's right, ShoeNet. For compatibility with old SneakerNet applications there is the patented "ShoeBox" emulation environment.

A dual processing environment is also supported with the new "Left Shoe" and "Right Shoe" processing modules.

Included in this system is new "AntiFungal" support for protection from spyware and other virii.

Naturally the whole system is designed on a ShoeString budget...
