Government is an "easy" target.
Websites, like posts here, are merely snapshots in time.
Even your post would be misleading read on it's own without reference to date.
When someone alters their behavior, let's give credit where credit is due.
I think it took some courage to say this:

Also, we have a new program initiated by the Mayor (email) born out of a realization that communications needed improvement.
In addition, the website content has changed here:
http://www.ci.kent.wa.us/eventcenter/index.asp
"Recent News:" now shows links to more current info, that paints the current situation the way it truly appears.
All of the above represent changes/statements made in reaction to understanding how communications let them down.
Admission of these issues and actually taking action to rectify the situation is worthy of praise in my book.
-That- action even further magnifies Amiga Inc's -lack- of action in solving -their- communication issues.
