Licensing the Amiga trademark rights from Amiga Inc is the only way to obtain the "Amiga" name. That's where their involvement ends.

So what you like is the only the name? so you will be happy if Microsoft buys the name and rebrand Windows ME as AmigaOS and put it on an rebranded HP i7 computer and sell to you as Amiga 7000?
Microsoft did not buy the Commodore-Amiga brand.
