You will be correct here, technically, but, X1000 is a Custom Designed motherboard for AmigaOS4.1 and the future. Remember Aros does not have the Apps yet to need or use all of that Core-i7 power.

Plus 2ghz dual core is no slouch, especially with an efficient OS and then there is XMOS which whilst some are unsure about, I believe it will be very cool and spark interesting new add ons.
