@number6

My first two questions.....

...will you put your x1000 mainboards into the C= Amiga case?
...will you leave the PPC architecture if the selling goes bad?

- Have you got anything without C=USA?
- Well, there's C=USA egg sausage and C=USA, that's not got much C=USA in it
- C=USA C=USA C=USA C=USA... (Crescendo through next few lines...)

I think your the one 'on something' if you think an API clone is better than the real thing.

I have to admit, you seem to be active in every thread at the moment I read.
That could be just coincidence.

Rude!

original code:

multiply(int, times){
for(i=0;i lessthan times;i++){
out = out + int;
}
return out;
}

reimplementing it

multiply(int,times){
return int*times;
}

There's no technical reason behind "API clone can't be better than original implementation". I've seen software that runs quicker under WINE.

Nah, he's a rabid AROS fan-boy who must preach his views on almost every forum, no matter how irrelevant the topic.

Maybe, but its like comparing a genuine sports car with a kit car based replica. The parts might be cheaper to replace but its still a fake.

You're comparing physical object with physical properties to digital realm. Makes no sense. I can replicate digital item without it being degenerated. You mix you tastes and opinions with technical stuff.

Reimplementing API is nothing like knocking copies of Timex watches.

That kind of reasoning makes ALL current AMIGA main boards to come based replica!
