@Barret You must have better tools than I do. I found an aluminum plate that was thick enough to retain it's shape but thin enough to cut with tin snips. I just kept snipping until it fit and then cut the holes for the connectors with an old Radio Shack sheet metal nibbler. My holes are open at the bottom and the whole thing is not very professional looking. I was mainly interrested in closing that huge gap next to the fan so it would suck air through the case instead of from the big hole around the corner

The old clipboard was made out of .050" aluminum sheet. All the work was done with a couple of drills and a really small file set. It just takes FOREVER. Start with a cardboard template. Once that is perfect, then transfer the layout over to the aluminum and start filing The hole for the serial port is the most difficult if you want it to look half decent.
