I haven't played the full game of portal, only a 15 level demo that NVidia did a promotion on via Steam. Must admit though, I did thoroughly enjoy playing it.
I guessed the song belonged to one of the HL offsprings as it mentioned gun making and black mesa (and I know it wasn't something from HL1, Blue Shift or Opposing Force).
@thread Some lovely animation there by Eric Scwartz though, with fantastic lip syncs. Now all he needs is to do a nice coloured version _________________ Test sig (new) |

Truly wonderful indeed.
Amazing job Eric! Very good work! I really missed this. Keep it up! See if you can add color to this one. If you make more in the future, let us know. Last edited by Zontrox on 06-Apr-2008 at 04:21 AM.

| That was a really great video, nice one Eric Schwartz. The still alive song from Portal I knew that I'd heard it somewhere before, that was indeed a very good and funny game just a shame it was over so quick. I liked the twist half way through. Part of the way through the portal game you can find a window that lets you see in to a board room where there is a slide show of graphs etc, it goes on to compare Aperture labs with Black Mesa and is really quite amusing. | Great video and so well done by Eric Schwartz!
I also liked his portrayal of the Amiga as a singing dancing monitor rather than a voluptuous furry critter.

Fifteen levels? There aren't quite that many maps in Portal...

That's right, the full game only has 19 tests, however beyond that you get probably the equivalent to half a dozen or more as well as the advanced challenges which are tougher variations of the main ones.
I'd like to see a higher res version of the anim too, if there is one. Eric? Not too sold on a colour version though. I think the line art has a nice sketchy look to it.

Ok this Eric Swartz animation is not:
1. Good 2. Great 3. Wonderful 4. Fabulous
It is ferakin Fantastic! WOW is all I can say! I did not think Eric Shwartz was still interested in Amiga.
This song is soooo perfect!
Eric Shwartz...where are you? do you log into these Amiga sites? please do very very often.
This video is so perfect for YouTube and the world to see.
Thanks for this video! I am going to tear my mac owning and PC owning friends to pieces with this hehe.
Please give us a Hires Original file download for this! the original DVD quality one.

Well, 15 challenges then, but since each challenge was a new area, level was still an appropriately used word. It was more akin to a tutorial on how to play the game to be honest as you were given a new skill to master on each challenge that you would need to know when playing the full game._________________ Test sig (new) |
