I think the idea is that we'll all have badges with our avatar name on. So yeah, we should be able to find each other.

@Swoop

yep, we'll all have name badges on with our usernames or nicknames or whatever so people can find out who they are talking to.

Look forward to seeing you all there tomorrow!

Looking forward to collecting my Sam440 from AmigaKit, and putting it in all together at the show, on your "Buy and Build" table . If I'm really adventurous, I may even try installing OS4...

Apologies to all that I cant make it - can't get the day off from the day job due to various issues there (my own fault for working in retail).

Sorry I can't come

I was really looking forward to being able to visit my first full Amiga meet since the last, and only other one I went to, at Earls Court.. but certain younger members of my family have decided that Gran is going to have her 90th birthday tomorrow, when they feel like it, instead of on Sunday, when it actually is. 8(. So, given certain other unfortunate events, Im afraid Ill have to pass this oportunity to scare and annoy people with my lame attempts at a single floppy internet Amiga, via SimpleHTML and OpenURL 8(

RodTerl

Since when did SimpleHTML have CSS support? @.@

thats a shame. not to worry. as long as we get most of the people that pledged to turn up I'll be happy.

I have some last minute prep to do and am really looking forward to tomorrow.

sounds great. look forward to seeing you there. Word of advice, don't film my wife on the door as she is extremely camera shy and will possibly injure you if you persist in filming her! lol

@everyone,

I should have, I don't even remember now, 1 or 2 black Minimig cases left to sell and my own white one to show.

See you there.

If any bears show up we're in trouble, perhaps we should keep the karate kids hanging about?

Hi guys just thought I would write a small report on how the Mag Bash went.

Me and my dad arrived at the church hall at 2pm. We saw a rather nice Mag Bash banner with a boing ball in the background.
I was very suprised to see how many people where there. The room was rammed full of people and I would say about 25/30 people at the start and then the number grew to about 35/40. (dunno if my estimation is correct :P)
Instantly to my right I noticed an Amigaone which also ran os 3.9. As I moved around the room I saw a Sam440 running Os 4.1 and next to that a Morphos Machine (not sure what machine and what version of Morphos). I then noticed a nice A2000 and C64s.
I then saw the MAG table and they had an AmigaOne, Amiga a1200 PPC with amigasys 4 and a load of stuff for sale from MrNiceGuy. Next to them was Hyperion with Sam440 and Os 4.1 on a big lcd monitor and a rather nice custom built case.
Next to them was amigakit with loads of great s\tuff for sale ( I brought a mouse adapter).
In the middle of the room they had a buy and build table where a sam440 was being put into a case. Also next to that table TheDaddy was showing off his wonderfull minimig cases.
I setup in a corner helping Swoop install Amikit. I was running it on a EEE PC which drew some intrest. I stayed until 5.30pm as it was so great :P (my girlfriend was a bit mad :P)
As all this was going on Metal dust was being played on a projected screen from a c64 with supercpu :D which was very impressive. Then we had a demo of os 4.1 by hyperion which was great. Pity they could not get the net working so we could not see owb in action.
Then we had a showing off the allegro games engine. Ported games like sonic and other classic titles where playing. It was finally raffle with top prize a sam440!

This was a great event and I returned home with my hands full. I brought a mouse adapter from amikit. I brought a midi interface, A1200 8mb expantion card plus some nice cds from MAG. Everybody I met was really friendly and great people. Thanks so much MAG and MrNiceGuy for holding such a possitive and sucessfull event. My dad filmed it all so our video should be online sometime next week.

Yep that was a good bash and my thanks to Luke (niceguy1979) for organising it. It gave me tha chance to show my Minimig enclosures and taking a few extra orders for the next batch of white ones, it looks like you really like the white ones

But most importantly I had the chance to meet a lot of you!

It was great going around taking pictures of various Amigas, C64, my Minimig running different games, having the chance to see OS4.1 in action.

Meeting Rudei, Tonyeb, Amigakit, Swisso and many others.

I'll email my pictures to Luke.

Thanks again,

Hi was my first Amiga meeting and had a great time.

Will definitely be going to next bash.

By the way, I won the Sam440ep + OS4.1 voucher.

Once again I had a great time.
