Oooh.. now tie that in with the 'What is X ?' (window manager)
Didn't they say ages ago that they wanted to do a complete overhaul intuition and workbench ?

I'd like my prize in unmarked small bills please.

This could actually have been a lot of fun if instead of giving a clue each day, all pages would be there from the start, but being password protected. The clues from all previous pages would be required to solve the password for the next page.

It would have given the community a chance to work together... Not to mention it would have been lots of fun!

But we are, and it is!

At least spacing out the delivery gives everyone the chance to enjoy the campaign. Password protect it & release it all at once, and someone will crack it by themselves within a few hours.

At least we know that something tangible must be coming soon: the machinery of marketing is moving.

[EDIT: disambiguity]

@Hondo

We still don't know the meaning of NEMO and EDF from the GURU Meditations.

First Guru said 4E454D4F which in hex = NEMO
Second Guru showed the letters EDF in a slightly different colour

Rogue must be laughing a lot,
because they have turned on the speculations machine,
and a great expectation has been generated.

Firstly congrates to Hyperion or who ever for doing such a fun virul marking, dont make it last too long though unless it really is big news other wise there might a "oh was that all it was" reaction.

One thing I find intresting is it says decoded

What is X, if not a letter,
Perhaps an Omen, or even better?

OMEN < > NEMO ? EDF?
Any one notice turn it upside down, it can spell OWEN add ED = OWENED have we all been owned or perhaps Hyperion owns Amiga now?

Well my guess is X = 10, thats all I got now does it has anything to do with MacOS X? the year 2010? AmigaOS 10? who knows. But its fun

@Gazelle

Could the Guru be from a real world situation? From testing AOS4 on a new PPC CPU?

also...
Perhaps memory protection is being enabled and sandbox is coming for legacy stuff...
