Yep. The day you show me the MorphOS2.x and/or AmigaOS4.x emulator, I might be thinking of switc...ah, hm, uh...emulation? No. I won't switch._________________ X1000|II/G4|440ep|2000/060|2000/040|1000 |

| An Amiga branded x86 PC for the purpose of running AROS? Don't care. It's not important or desirable, for x86 I want to go choose exactly what I want, not to be limited to whatever some tiny company decides to offer. (Yea, I'd be frustrated at first if Hyperion went x86 and only supported one or two boards)
To me, an Amiga computer runs AmigaOS. if these Amiga computers cannot run "AmigaOS", then what's the point? I know that some AROS or MOS fans disagree with my little definition, but that's how I myself feel about it.
The Hyperion post that osnews linked to suggests that they are not excited about this opportunity, and thus I do not expect to see "AmigaOS" running on these supposed "Amiga" computers.
I believe all this will be a distraction for we the community, an annoyance and perhaps legal expense to Hyperion, it's just Amiga Inc. trying to harrass us all again hoping for some attention, and I don't expect I'll have even thought about this much when it's over. _________________ All glory to the Hypnotoad! |
