@Chris_Y

I haven't tested the updated download, so dont know if it works for me yet (SAM is busy rendering a video in blender so I can't risk a crash til that is done) but the concept of fixing a crash just by changing optimisation options is worrying! What did you change it from - to?

I still haven't managed to build a version to test here. I got issue with missing interface files then, when I built my own with fdtopragma I got conflicts with the inlines, so I gave up.

I can send you my files if you still need them.

@kas1e

That, the one on Aminet and the one on my page (which actually is just a redirect now) are all the same - all good.

Just install as expert and click "yes" when it asks if you want to overwrite.

Chris

aha, cool. Can you please reupload it on os4depot too (i can do it myself, but because you was a initial submiter, it will take a long time when other uploader will overwrite some file).

Hmm, I wonder if it idicates a borderline stack problem, O2 might reasonable use a bit less stack than no optimisation. My stack is set to 64k globally. The apparent jump into an invalid address, certanly suggests some kind of memory trash any way. The fact that the stack was in bounds doesn't mean it wasn't out of range earlier on.

Dated yesterday:

The updated XAD LhA client has introduced a bug with extracting protection bits (which was reported to me yesterday, and I've just fixed). The new v1.15 client will be available shortly.

How about fixing it up to save timestamps with seconds ending in an odd-number? I wonder if it's been like that since the very first versions of LhA.

Adding support for extended header 0x54 when archiving files should resolve this issue. One for Sven I think. (Sven, if you're reading there is a mention of an archive in the thread I linked to above, that doesn't extract with LhA 2.15)

Excuse off-topic.

You might want to visit the AmigaAMP thread.

Apparently there is a difference between dragging a file vs a drawer in the new version.
