@Hypex

Yes this was after removing the card and removing the memory and reinserting it.
first time took a whole day of messing about before it worked ok. Second time lasted a
few hours and I even Emailed Acube who had not seen this before .

Thanks

It's strange how it still affected the system even after the hardware was removed! I note it also gave you memory problems. Was that also after removing the card?

I also know the Sam flex doesn't like some VGA cards in the VGA slot. Or OS4 doesn't.[/quote]

@Spectre660

I wonder if the battery kept the machine in a fuzzy state? Though you did end up sorting it out.

On mine the battery was pulled and the machine left alone. IIRC overnight. But it still didn't come back. And it was only when I inserted other RAM that it did.

incase someone needs a µa1c motherboard then i have a spare one, the cpu module is dead and sent for repairs ages ago.

i tried it yesterday and it works fine, so if anyone has a working cpu but no board anymore then be my guest and take the mobo for free (you pay postage).

cheers

PS:pm me

@Hypex

I did removed the battery. So even that did not help.
ended up with a date of 2035 when it finally booted.
This caused an error booting OS 4 and I had to set the correct year in the Uboot shell .

@Toaks

Shame it's not the other way around (working CPU module and bad motherboard)...
I would gladly take it out of your hands. ;)
