@Thorham

Watching Danas presentation/Take2 AmiWest on my Wintel PC, but still enjoy my A1200 (tho longing for Amiga Reloaded+Apollo).

Still hope AOS4 succeed (whatever that means to people).

Normally real Amigans use Window$ only because they are forced to somehow.

And Winzoz doesn' t have a good reputation among the above people and that is why we all should concern about OS4 instead.

@cdimauro

This is not a thread about Window$ ... if you want to tell the world how much you love it, use another dedicated thread ...

@Massi: I don't know how can you talk of "love" regarding software. BTW, YOU, and only you, did it, because nobody has expressed something similar.

You resemble a fanatic of some religion, which wants to defend the "faith" against what YOU, and only you, see as "enemies".

It's software. Just software. And we were discussing about some characteristic and hypothetic issues about it.

@cdimauro

The software you say is called OS4 ... that is why it is possible to use different threads for different topics.

True! Wait... I thought you were speaking about yourself.

From what I read on Amiga related forums, only rare personalities don´t express their passion about Amiga (and related computer technology). Me, you and Massi certainly aren´t among them.

I'm not trolling. You're telling everyone what they should be concerned about, while you should be speaking for yourself.

So what? Take a look at WHO started talking about something different.

And BTW, if you take a look at this thread from the beginning, you can see that here there were a lot of discussions on completely different things, even completely non-sense.

But you started complaining just now. Against only some people. Guess why...

Why you take any chance for trolling? Bah...

Passion and love are different things.

We were young. We had passion AND love at the Amiga time.

But the world changed: we've grown and are supposed to be more mature.

I'm more cold, rational, and professional. And I prefer to reserve human sentiments to more noble, and human, things.

Writing walls of text in topics like this doesn´t look like qualities you described above...

@Massi

I agree staying on topic is always a good thing, but dismissing the quality of other OS's isnt the way forward.
Back in the early 90s, I prefered Workbench over Windows/DOS by a mile clearly due to functionality.

These days I see clear failings with the functionality of AOS vs Windows for example, but that doesnt mean I cant appriciate Workbench and find programs that enhance the functionality.

I dont see it as a problem we take the good things from more mature OSs as long as it doesnt chance what is "AOS expirience" at its core.

They are walls of text for people who doesn't understand them. Or, worse, don't want to understand.
