Glad to hear a replacement solved your issues.
btw.: it's Powerbook, not Macbook. Powerbooks are ppc based, Macbook x64 based. _________________ My programs: via.bckrs.de MorphOS user since V0.4 (2001) |

Yes I've never seen anything close to a 17 inch MacBook at the shops. They all look like net books. Despite being a PC under the hood it looks like Apple is still intent on catching up. I mean, where is the two mouse buttons and keypad? And big screen from the Power days. |

(Early) MacBook did indeed come in 17", and I cam't say I really miss a 2nd (physical) button on the PB trackpad (or the Macig Trackpad ).
Keypads are nice, but even on a 17" it would be cramped and force the keyboard left of center, so I'll pass on that one too.
Missing DEL-key on the other side is a mayor annoyance _________________ - We don't need good ideas, we haven't run out on bad ones yet - blame Canada |

| @Kronos Two finger touch can work as right-click under MorphOS (matter of a setting), also Fn-Backspace works as Del. Just for the record. :) _________________ MorphOS, classic Amiga, demoscene, and stuff "When a bridge is not enough, build a Viaduct!" Loving the speed of Morphos. Have registored just waiting for email for next stage.
OWB browser is nice as well. Does not seem to load my homepage though have set it to www.google.co.uk but it still load about :blank
I have just seen that version 3.10 is coming soon what new features will it bring. Icon set is just amazing makes windows and linux look so plain and boring.
Keep up the great work to all Morphos developers.

Weird - but may it be a simple typo (a "," instead of a "." is a good source for an about :blank) ? Quote:

3.10 will not come in a few days (the thread on morph.zone is not a serious one). MorphOS 3.10 will probably still take a while. _________________ My programs: via.bckrs.de MorphOS user since V0.4 (2001) |

And that page works when accessed otherwise, but just not when set to homepage?
Usually if some page doesn't open at all and you're wondering why, it's been blocked by the AdBlock, but that common address shouldn't been blocked by the default content blocking rules, unless you've mistakenly added it yourself there..._________________ - The wiki based MorphOS Library - Your starting point for MorphOS - Software made by jPV^RNO |

Try setting it to http://www.google.co.uk - it may sound weird, but it worked for me. |

PC laptops have had keypads for years but I've never seen one on a Mac. I feel cramped when using a laptop but PC ones always seem to have a full keyboard. And pressing Fn or Number keys to get function or keypad numbers is BS to me. Even in OSX you really need a two button mouse minimum so they have no excuse not to have a split button on the pad. Their OSX is not that good that you can use it with one button! Last edited by Hypex on 08-Apr-2016 at 04:15 PM.

Have you restarted the machine after the keyfile was added to the system? |

| @Develin Hi
Thought of reboot after i posted doh. All ok now happy browsing on my first complete Amiga OS type laptop. How long before OS4 is truelly mobile, emulation does not count.

| @Hypex There's a 2nd button possibility on *all* current MacBooks and Apple Touchpads and Mouses. Just FYI. The FN-press to reach Fxx-buttons is an user setting in the OS. You can switch it if you don't like the default. (You can also switch it on PowerBooks, with MorphOS.)
The Numpad is a matter of taste issue. I never missed it. My PC laptop has one, but I barely use it. Apple also sells external USB keyboards with a numpad, if you really need one (for example for work). (Or you can use any USB keyboard or external numpad.) _________________ MorphOS, classic Amiga, demoscene, and stuff "When a bridge is not enough, build a Viaduct!"
