For Cyberstorm PPC it seems an amount of 128MB RAM will be recommended.
That propably goes for Blizzard PPC too.

Anyone out there who can give more info about minimum and recommended specifications for OS4 on the CyberstormPPC and BlizzardPPC accelerators for the classic line of Amigas?

Last word from the Amiwest computer show was that they were aiming for a 2Q 2007 release. Some technically minded people doubt this board will ever run, judging from its prototype pictures. (i.e. component placing, and 90 degree mobo traces).

The design by Beijing UD Technology Co., Ltd. (UDTech) is an evaluation board similar to the MAI Teron that started a second life under Eyetech as the "AmigaOne" commercial product. This board has been licensed by Troika and is being modified slightly. Details of what actual changes are being made are not yet available.

Of all the proposed OS4 capable new hardware this one is head and shoulder ahead of the rest in development and potential license from Amiga Inc, Bill McEwan mentioned them directly as "partners they were working together with".

Sam440ep is the first modular motherboard produced by ACube Systems Srl.

The main characteristics are:

* low power consumption
* passive cooling
* scalability

The core of the board is the PowerPC 440EP, a System On Chip (SoC) produced by AMCC under license from IBM.

One of the main features of the PowerPC AMCC 440EP is the presence, together with the CPU, of a number of integrated peripherals. This allowed us to build a complete system with a huge savings of both development and debug time, with less components and space used on the PCB. This also results in a significant cost reduction for the customer.

As a consequence the northbridge/southbridge combination is not present on the board. Part of their functionalities are built into the CPU.

The 440EP chip has a size of 35x35 mm, with a PBGA packaging (456 balls). It is built with CMOS (0.13 um) technology, has a very low power consumption (only 3 Watts at 533Mhz) and it does not require any active cooling system.

The Efika is a very small motherboard with somewhat limited specs and expandability. However, its Bill of Materials is very low, hence it can be manufactured *very* cheap and sold at an attractive price if some volume can be reached. It runs passively cooled, and consumes only a few Watts. It could easily be used as a building block for various embedded devices as it is, including portable and battery powered ones. It has a PCI-slot that can be turned into an AGP slot (1x speed) by the use of an 90° AGP riser slot. One cool case-option for this computer would be to fit a complete Efika system, including the motherboard, a 2.5" harddrive and a low profile graphics card, in a box with a size and shape of a regular 5.25" CD-ROM and put it (or several!) in a regular tower case. The Pegasos 8641D is a motherboard built around the Freescale MPC8641D processor. This CPU is a dual-core CPU, with two high-performance superscalar e600 cores (similar as the 7448 CPU) running at up to 1.5 GHz. Each core has its own memory controller (DDR2 up to 600MHz), its own 1MB L2 cache, and its own Altivec engine. Various postings in several Amiga fora around the globe suggest that one reason for the Shark's unavailability could simply be that the "Shark" is nothing else than a "Crescendo" from Sonnet and that the Sonnets are unavailable (sold out) since last December.

But since a few weeks it is listed again as available on Sonnet's website - and it seems to be a new and reworked version (higher clockspeed):
