@koft

Specs sound fine to me and the "price is right"! Chalk me up for one, at least.

Too bad no estimation of a time for delivery though.

@Steff

Strange!

All day people have been asking for the specs in post after post and now when they come up (been here for 30min.) it looks as though nobody is interested.

This would hold true if and only if such hardware ran an Amiga OS: AOS4? Ouch, difficult for a number of rather obvious reasons; AOS5 (assuming it keeps a true Amiga feeling)? Ouch, utopia.
To me, this is nothing but hot air (hoping it is not anything worse).
I'd be pleasantly shocked if this became true some time in the near future, but honestly I'm putting not even 1 gram of hope in it.
I deeply wish it is *at least* a genuine attempt by all involved.

@koft

These things should be discussed further in the news-section about the Power Amiga I'm sure you will find many interesting answers there

Nice specs, fair price given the market, I like that he's not intending to sell it as a motherboard alone. I won't be holding my breath as I did for the PowerVixxen, but will wait and see...

@Thread

I'm getting a whiff of bull too. The good news is nice to hear but there are a lot of loose threads...

I'd love to have a system like this! The more I look at recent events, the more I don't like the odds of this being yet another chain yanking.

Ainc approach AOS as a chore & are quiet.
Hyperion finish & AInc don't even acknowledge it
AInc say no to HW businesses
ACube & Hyperion announce HW
AInc finally revamps website
AInc &Ack announce HW
AInc & Hyperion in court
(The rights & talent are in court)

Looks like tit for tat, ping pong. Either somebody is trying hard to move forward or to display intent to do so. This has the hallmarks of hype like somebody suggested for the courtroom. Hope not...

If such a beast ever comes to market at the $1500 price point AND it runs OS4, I'll buy it!

The new systems seems to be good!
The price is ok.
But in my opinion, we need to know "other things" about operative system for a good evaluation....

The right question to ask would be: "Will it ever start?"
