I found that links about Troika and Panda...
Anyone from boards developers and/or Hyperion(that's nominated on site), can explain us how much was tue of that?
Really soon we can buy 3(sam,troika and panda) hw to run os4.1 on?

I would say the Panda project is dead as well as DirOpusMagllen for OS4 as well as the http://www.gurumeditation.se/ website itself.

But at least Troika web site seems to be updated short time ago...
So atleast Troika "seems" alive...
Althought the high price(about 400£) not seems to me a good price...
On their site seems that Hyperion have already these boards to develop AmigaOS4.1 so curiosity was high...

Yes, by me. Because it was not correct, Hyperion has not received any Amy'05 or Panda board from Troika. The last thing I would like to see is people shying away from buying a SAM because they think that there is any work going on on a G3 or G4 based board.

The panda project is currently in Hibernation until such time we have the requisite contracts
in place to allow this capable platform to be adapted for OS4.

HJF doesn't speak for our development team at Troika, or have access to our PPC "platform" projects.

I didn't try that, I just stated that the information that we're working with a G3 or G4 board is wrong. I don't know what Troika is working on, I just stated that we don't have a G3 or G4 board from you.

You know what is required for that, and you know that I am not the person to talk to.

I just wanted to refute any rumor that we have gotten an Amy05 or Panda board from you. I don't know who came up with this information, but it was false, and that is what I set straight. I did not want to imply that you are not working on something, but as long as Hyperion didn't get one, it's not relevant to AmigaOS 4.x.

The trip report to Amiwest 2006 from ssolie mentions the following:

I do not know how he got that info, but it isn't correct. Hyperion does not have, and never had, a Panda board.

That seems to be your latest pet peeve, but it doesn't have anything to do with it. If there had been anything to announce, Hyperion would have done it. I say again, I don't know how Steven got to think this, there must have been some misunderstanding.

That is all I am going to say about this. I think the statement was quite clear. While I don't speak for Hyperion, as Troika pointed out, I would know if there was anything like that going on, so the fact is that no, there is no work on a Panda board going on period.

I don't think there is any more to add.
