Apologies in advance for the length:

OK, Straight to the issues I would like advice or help with.

Feeble files was working last year, but woke up afternoon today, and nothing but a black screen with sounds now? My system seems to be tempromental or something?

Also, ADecsent, does anyone know of a better version for os4.1 port, tha works?
And again, atleast i had the meu hapening last year, this year its changed also?

My napalm is looking for rtgmaster.library in the ram env, why?? I got all my required libraries in the LIBS drawer.

Quake works(last I checed0 but gives me grey blocks within the normal graphics during gameplay, is there a patch to fix this for os4.1 users?

Heretic 2 has problems, does not even want to load? Did I download a bad version of this demo?

Shogo, well, shogo is like a tick tock time bomb, it could work for 15 minutes, or 5 seconds. Then DSI's or worse, ISI's, which in turn require a system reboot.

Imagine 6 is working geneeally, but still need to tackle some quick rendering and perspective window problems with Cad Technologies thisyear(after holidays I assume) So anyone wanting to get imagine 6, perhaps wait until these little nensessities have been dealt with for sam440ep users.

Was missing av codec, dc codec, and updated dvdvcd.plugin with the latest one specially madefor sam440ep users, thanks to Andrea Palmatè.

AmigaAMP was working flawlessly, until my recent upgrade/repair when I fuked up all my icons due to a learning curve I was doing. it simply freezes my system the moment I place any song in there, be it off a cd or from my hard drive?

UHexen, works, but when I hit the second level, after ethereal travel from the 4 solid stone beams, whereby the one with a sword is the travel from there, I getstuck in the earth, and my character cant move. cheat casper also does not work. Any recommendations? (new hexen download wad??)

Crossfire 2 - got it working now, but the screen is only 1/4 of my whole monitor?

Freespace loads into game, but cant do the character save, meaning I get DSI, after Ignoring DSI's, play works, until I want to actually play a mission from the initial space room. Any ideas??

VICE works. WarpSNES would probly work f I had some games for it.Rdesktopseems to be fine, just dont have a windows system that works anymore(which is kinda good and satisfying)

UAE, doesnt save my settings, and my roms I place to it. I also cant play AB3d:TKG, and I love tha game, any suggestions or a screenshot from someone who can show me their setup sequence would be awesome. PM me on this one, or email.

OK, interesting.

It seems to almost work now. I have DSI error at start, after ignoring DSI it temporary works until it freezes my system? It says someting about AsyncIO, could you please tell me where you have your AsyncIO and what library date yours is??

Perhaps it needs to be somewhere else, my AsyncIO?

I am not sure if it is library though, or that it just can not find the drawer?

asyncio.library, or something other like "DVPlayer AsyncIO Task"?
If it is LIBS:asyncio.library download this:

But that is very unlikely as DVPlayer dont use that library.

If it is "DVPlayer AsyncIO Task":
a) Try other DVDs and see what happens
b) faulty OS installation (try with a clean install, and add only the things DVPlayer needs)
c) faulty Hardware (run Memtester, or another OS)
d) bug in DVPlayer (unlikely, it works here on my SAM and only you have reported problems)

What version of Tunenet are you using?

The latest version to my knowledge is 0.86.36.
Earlier versions will no longer connect to shoutcast server.

Have you got mpeg library installed?

For Freespace have you downloaded the patch from Hyperion?

Found out something itneresting. I replaced te DVDVCD. plugin with the original copy on my os4.1 cd, and it worked again like it did before hand, playing the naughty dvd's but not Hard target or the like.

Maybe i am missing something else within the dvplayer drawer in utilities?

I dont know, will look again tomorow.

Sounds like a bug in the DeCSS plugin.

Thank you for your help, but it seems mr. Andrea Palmatè is the main man I need to thank, as hes plugin works flawlessly so far.

Hard Target, Van Dammage time. hahahahahaha. Love it. Next up, classical Cyborg Van Dammage.

So far no DSI's, nd no annoying Asyncio Task.

I played shogo yesturday for like 20 minutes before recieving a DSI.

Thats the longest I got to play the demo, I even had to start looking around for other opponents. :)

but er, then if I were to start it now, it might only last 1 minute??

I will look at tunenet today, and hopefully others can help me with other things from my initial post, or thread starter.

Well, for some reaso it freezes my system if I open u more than one instance of my dvplayer? I can however watch one movie at a time with no problems, be it from hard drive or dvd.
I did manage t play a dvd from dvd drive, and play an mpg without it crashing or freezing.
Other than this, am very happy, atleast I can watch dvd's with no problems now.

Finally got round to trying tunenet, but, it is requesting AISS. But then after downloading AISS, will it change my workbench completey, if so, I am not sure if I want to install it??

Can someone explain to me exactly what AISS does to my workbench or my amiga os4.1???

Also, I dont want to loose my current functionality. Another note here is, I do not have a fully registered MUI.

Essentially it is a tool for developers to use standard toolbar, and gadget images in their programs.
It will not change your workbench at all, but it may improve the look of some programs, if they support it, and you like the look of it.
As far as I know there is usually an option, within a program, to turn it off.

Also, I am trying the quake link from you HANS, will let you know how that goes.

Got some games i would like to use/buy, but not sure if they will work under os4.1, exodus-the last war, virtual gp, moonbase(strategy)

Now, I f I bought the freespace full version, wuld that have and be less buggy for my system, as well as heretic 2?

Make sure you don't change the settings as recommended in the powerpc.guide.
