RE: Abnormal record temps
There's a logic problem here. The author creates a theortical then makes claims based on reality from it. However, he fails to prove what or even if his theoretical coorelates to actuality. This theoretical event may well be not coorelated at all as he develops a random generation when in fact the climate is not random. There are influencing factors and their contribution to the climate.
One other point is lost here and that is one of magnitude. It's not only if the #s changed but the amount of change itself.
The continent record is interesting but the only thing it proves, at most, is that the author doesn't feel the change is quick enough over a wide enough area. This doesn't prove or disprove climate change nor it's causes.
