Candy Factory... name inspired from the old EyeCandy photoshop plug-ins, almost forgot when those were trendy ten years ago:)

and so i confused with this puyo=puyo clone released on win and mac: Candy Crisis
http://candycrisis.sourceforge.net/

btw considered now is open source, uses SDL and i think is a really good game to port:)

@ALL

Up

I wonder what happen to Candy Factory 2.

Even links to demo images (that were store on zeoneo are vanished)

http://amigaworld.net/modules/news/article.php?storyid=2449

It is like it never existed.

It is sad, because Candy Factory was a killer app on Amiga.

It uses FMOD, which is unfortunately proprietary.

@Varthall

Looking on Sourceforge a user doing a MAC port replaced FMOD with SDL_mixer: Linkadinkadoo

@all

Apologies for the long period of absence. Though I have continued to lurk here on a fairly regular basis so I haven't really been gone...

Regarding CF2: not much to say other than nothing is happening at the moment. I'm not going to go into much more details on this, except to say the partisan atmosphere that developed, and which seemed to peak around the time of the court proceedings, left me with little motivation for AmigaOS development.

The project is not cancelled however. I put too much work into it for that. Instead I shall pick it up again when I have the time and inclination to do so. As from the beginning I make no promises on expected delivery or timescales, etc. If it happens, the next you'll hear about it will be if it is ready to ship. No more than that for now.

@rob

No I'm not, nor have I ever been, a police officer!

Hope you'll consider an AmigaOne X-1000 and that the new purchase will fuel your Amiga passion yet again

Good to see that you're still around! The dark times are over and things are rolling forward nicely on the Amiga front, hopefully this year's happenings will get you motivated again

@all

Maybe a poll would be interesting to see how many people are interested in CF2?

Just to say I have worked out the Tabs gadget error, I was getting with OS4.1 and OS4.1u1 so that makes it easier to use now, just need to find out why it dosent list any screen mode other than CLUT8 modes right time to delve deeper

Well, it is nice to hear that you did not abandon Amiga scene and that in your mind the projec is not canceled.

This sounds sweet.

I "FIXED" your comment...

Raise a bounty in order to have again this precious G/FX program on Amiga scene is a real gauge meter to show how much the community is interested in it, depending on the donations that will be made.

So then...

Dear Mattx, could a money bounty had given you a serious reason to raise your inclination in making CF2 again?

@eliyahu

I've just been trying to use the Wayback Machine on Zeoneo to see if I could bring up the screenshots MattK posted a long while ago.

It appears to be broken
