The mouse has a PS/2 connector plus an USB-adaptor. The mouse-wheel does work with AmigaOS 4.x and MorphOS, it didn't work with Aros, but that can change of course any moment.

@DrZarkov

I think I'll need 2, one for my A1 and one as a backup or collection depending how long the first one lasts

One question that others might have:

Is it USB or PS/2?

I prefer PS/2 for my A1 but I already use an adapter for my USB mouse so it doesn't really matter to me.

@AlexC

That is one cool mouse, very tempted, is it an optical one?

While where on the subject wasn't the official Amigaone mouse there? Anyone have any details on what that looks like and how much it will be.

It's of course an optical mouse. We are asking for the price the wireless version (USB only). The normal mouse will be something between 12 and 14 EUR I've heard. Plus taxes and shipping. The final costs I will know on 15th of August, when we know how many we can order.

@DrZarkov

I know what it is now, a Aqua Mouse
http://www.made-in-china.com/products-search/hot-china-products/Aqua_Mouse.html

just wondering however, like i posted in the T-Shirt thread is Hyperion and Amiga Inc ok with the community making Amiga branded products? Because this might be even more a bit funny as A-eon and Ami-kit have only just launched there own official AmigaONE mouse and might hurt sale of that.

Cool looking mouse, never had a fancy looking one like that before. Could do with at least one right now as everyday I share a mouse between home and work. Be interesting to see how much these will cost in the end.

@amigang

Hi,

I am not sure 100%, but here in Germany, AFAIK, you can even use copyrighted images, as long as it is for you private use.
Don't know if such a "centralised buying" is still privat, but as it's not done for profit and the price is 1:1 it should be, I guess. :)

CU,
Mario

Now that would be kinda weird (and probraly a premiere too). The ones I have came with an USB-plug.

A USB to PS/2 adapter did work, but I had to supply that on my own(which isn't a problem as they seem to be pretty universal).

Dunno if the adapter was included with the 2nd (red) edition.

@amigang:
It is absolutely not our intention to harm the sales of Amigakit/A.Eon! (I saw the mouse and keyboard of Amiga.kit, the qualitiy is much higher than that from this funny looking gadget, BTW.) This is a private initiative by a member of the A1k.org forum (Amiga_4000, to be exactly), not even by me! I'm just taking the orders here, because he is not registered here.
I am not very happy that Amiga-news.de have placed this on their news-site, too. This is a limited action, in time and in pieces. It is only private without any commercial intention!

I bet he meant it vice versa. :)

@DrZarkov
Your, or likely A4000 could ask amiga-news to remove it!

@AmigaNG

Mario

Or did they answer they wouldn't? (which I doubt)

Mario
