| No matter how many new posts a forum thread might have since the last time I logged on, all the envelope icons are the pale, washed-out color. They used to turn bright if there were new posts. Like the samples shown at the end of the forum pages.
Fixable? I have something set wrong? |

These sorts of problems are typically browser related (either cache or cookies), as the site does not store anything in relation to this on a user by user basis.
If clearing your cache and or cookies does not help, perhaps you have additional software installed (such as a module in your firewall/AV software) which is responsible for the problem by interfering with the cookies stored on your pc. _________________ Test sig (new) |

| @_Steve_ I'll try some other browsers and see what happens. But I'm using a brand new install of Odyssey with the same results I was having with mui-owb, and amigans.net does the envelope thing fine on the same browser with whatever additional software I might have.

I actually have the same problem here with Chrome, but I hardly ever go to the forum index anyway (I just click on "recent posts"). _________________ This weeks pet peeve: Using "voltage" instead of "potential", which leads to inventing new words like "amperage" instead of "current" (I, measured in A) or possible "charge" (amperehours, Ah or Coulomb, C). Sometimes I don't even know what people mean. |
