Am I being dumb or blind? I can't see it on Aminet anywhere?

@danwood

No you are not remotely dumb, it's not on aminet but on www.amistore.net, Marky_de_Sahd made a typo I think.

@broadblues

Ahh thanks! See that's the OS4 only installer, is there an OS3 version yet? (guessing not available yet).

@all

Can someone tell me why EasyNet is £15 on AmiiStore but only £7.85 on AmigaKiy?

@amigakit

I think it's excellent already, and I really hope it achieves the objective of encouraging new AOS developers.

Two small pieces of feedback:

1. It doesn't remember my username and password, despite me (I think) asking it to. It's a pain especially because of the impossible-to-remember Eon username.

2. I paid for a purchase ok via Paypal (using the OWB browser), but AmiStore itself didn't detect the transaction had completed. I had to cancel that, then use the money which had been added to my account to buy the product again.

@AndyGarton

1. Not sure why it shouldn't remember your username/password. In Beta test we did not encounter this issue. I will be interested to investigate this.

2. Checked your payments and only 1 was received (no duplicates) which suggests first payment did not complete at all.

@amigakit

I just tried 1 again - both username and password are blank, but when I enter the username it does fill in the password (I can remember my password but not my username!).

On 2 - I definitely only paid (in PayPal) once, but the app didn't detect the browser purchase. It did increase my balance to the amount I paid though, so I was able to "buy" the product (ZTools) again.

Found a new bug - adding comments. It seems to change product in the background so when you click "add" it says you haven't bought it (I was adding a comment for ZTools, it had changed to Ranger).

PayPal appears to be the only way to pay yet. Hopefully this will change soon, otherwise AmiStore is pretty useless to me...

@amigakit

Finally managed to log-in, mistyping. Waiting for the Radiance bundle, because to be fair it has everything I want from AmiStore right now - hopefully at a competitive price.

Hopefully there are plans afoot to update Odyssey to take advantage of this new video stuff - I assume even with Radeon 2.4 drivers YouTube is slow as ever.

Anyway to reset password? Asked 3 times, one month ago never got a reply.

@amigakit

Here's a bug for you.

Press CTRL+C to break AmiStore, restart AmIStore, during initialisation a box reports that an instance of AmiStore is already open.

Nothing shown in Exchange, In my list of processes I have DATA/AMISTORE_DL shown, if I break C this as well (thinking it might help) - AmiStore still refuses meaning a reboot is necessary.

Downloaded and installed AMIStore. However, when running a
console opens and writes the following line 5 times:

`+++ Error 13 in line 1: Host environment not found`

Running OS4.1...

Best regards,
Kotler

There is a really simple work arround to this issue.

Don't CTRL-C it!

It's a GUI with a close gadget, use that instead.

Ofcourse it should handle CTRL_C but do Hollywood apps have CTRL_C handlers?
